Dr. Kyleon Ho of C U Vision Optometrists completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia and completed his Doctorate in Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2010. Dr. Ho is TPA certified in B.C. and is fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Since prevention is the best treatment, Dr. Ho emphasizes on patient education of proper eye care. He strongly believes that good communication with patients is of utmost importance to promote awareness of the general public.
Realizing the need of better near vision for presbyopia contact lenses users, Dr. Ho has a great interest in multi-focal contact lenses fit and has since successfully fitted many happy patients!

Kylvin Ho
Dr. Kylvin Ho received his Bachelor of Science degree at University of British Columbia and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During his externship, he was cited for clinical excellence from the William Feinbloom Low Vision Centre, the Connecticut Veterans Affairs Hospital, and the Department of Primary Care at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Upon graduation, he earned the David J. Kerko Low Vision Award, which recognizes a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding clinical performance in low vision and specialty device management. In addition, he received an Award of Excellence from Conforma Contact Lenses for demonstrating superior clinical performance in contact lens design and management.
Orthokeratology & Myopia Control
Dr. Ho devotes his interest in myopia control using various methods: multifocal soft contact lenses, atropine therapy, and orthokeratology lenses. He employs methods that are in tune with world’s best practices to give each patient a fully customized solution. In his orthokeratology practice, Dr Ho has successfully fitted patients with challenging prescriptions such as high myopia and high astigmatism.
In addition to being a member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control and actively attending and participating in its annual conferences to learn about the latest research in myopia control, Dr Ho became the first optometrist in British Columbia to earn the prestigious Fellowship of the International Academy of Orthoketarology and Myopia Control (FIAOMC). This fellowship is in recognition of his level of knowledge and commitment to the highest standards, case presentations he delivered, and excellent performances on his oral and written examinations organized by the Fellowship committee.
Dr. Ho is TPA certified in BC and speaks English, Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.

Ji Youn Erica Kim
Dr. Erica Kim of C U Vision received her honors bachelor degree with distinction from the University of Toronto and received her doctoral degree with highest honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
During her education at PCO, she was the recipient of the presidential scholarship and E. F. Wildermuth scholarship. Dr. Kim also achieved the highest score in PCO on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry Part I. During her externships, Dr. Kim served as an investigator of a new multifocal contact lens and also received an Award of Excellence from Conforma Contact Lenses.
Dr. Kim is TPA certified in B.C and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa international optometric honor society and Canadian Association of Optometrist. Dr. Kim is fluent in English and Korean. Her interests include family eye care, ocular disease and contact lens.

Kelvin So
Dr. Kelvin So obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia. He then studied Optometry at Pacific University in Portland Oregon, graduating as valedictorian with the highest academic score in his class.
In 2012 Dr. So completed a residency program at Pacific University, where he specialized in fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with irregular corneas such as keratoconus or corneal transplants. Dr. So is also experienced in ortho-keratology (custom contact lenses used overnight to correct near-sightedness).
Dr. So is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He had published research in contact lens design and clinical applications. Dr. So is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa international optometric honor society. He is TPA certified in BC.
Dr. So was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Dr. So enjoys working with patients of all ages, and is passionate about enhancing lives through quality vision care. He loves to share his knowledge with patients to promote eye health.

Christina Chen
Dr. Christina Yun-Ting Chen was born in Taiwan and Canada became her second home when she moved to Vancouver in 1997 with her family. She is fluent in English as well as Mandarin.
Dr. Chen received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Toronto, with major in Human Biology and minors in Physiology and Psychology. She then pursued her optometry training at University of Bradford in the UK and graduated with First-Class Honours for her academic achievement in 2012. During her clinical training year in the UK, she was awarded a Certificate Honouring Professionalism from Specsavers Optical Group for helping detect an ocular condition which indicated potential life threatening illness in a young patient. This experience further strengthened her belief in the importance of promoting regular eye examinations in people of all ages.
After Dr. Chen obtained her UK optometry license in 2014. She worked as a locum optometrist in various practices in Greater London Area as well as in nearby counties before officially returning home to Canada. She has successfully completed the International Optometric Bridging Program (IOBP) at the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry and Vision Science, and is now a TPA certified optometrist in B.C and a member of the BC Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Chen is interested in ocular pathology, contact lens fitting, dry eye management, and hopes to continue enhance her knowledge and skills regarding myopia control treatments throughout her career. She enjoys helping others and is focused on providing patient-centred vision care service.
